As one of the lead Public Safety agencies on the South Side of Chicago that organized around the ECPS ordinance since the beginning in the fall of 2016, we are happy to announce that Empowering Communities for Public Safety (ECPS) ordinance passed.... For that, a frame work crafted by Metropolitan Family Services (CP4P) we furnish a comprehensive approach to community violence intervention. To demonstrate this anti-violence infrastructure we de-escalate through Case management, Street Outreach, Re-entry, trauma-informed, restorative justice, legal services and "Light In the Night" events to empower the Auburn Gresham, Chatham, East- Englewood and West Englewood communities to reclaim safe spaces. Our community partnership with the talent Chicago Cred organization gives us the confidence that providing FLIP workers we will reach our future gun violence reduction goals in large parts employing these individuals from said communities as "Peace Keepers" Our relationship with "CPS" permits us to furnished jobs at 25 Public Schools through Chicago.
